Tapped
Tapped was developed to help those in youth work and education inform young people of the dangers of loan sharks. Through a short film and a toolkit designed to be easy to use, interactive and engaging. Central to the project was the involvement of young people from the Dunfermline area. This group were supported to script, film and edit the production, as well as shape the themes and content of the accompanying learning toolkit, with support from local filmmakers Adam Stanley and David Izzat, YOUth Space Fife and Youthlink Scotland.
This project was made possible through partnership between Fife Voluntary Action, Kingdom Community Bank, City of Dunfermline Area Committee (Fife Council) and Scottish Illegal Money Lending Unit, working alongside Youth Space Fife, Touch Trust and YouthLink Scotland. The screening took place at the Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline, as Tapped was filmed on location in Touch Dunfermline. Following the launch, both the film and toolkit have been made freely available.
